"Womyn's Studies" students were in the hallway on their backs, legs spread, knees up, chanting, and practicing "giving birth" With job skills like that they wonder about glass ceilings and equal pay.

Shut up and go back to work, don't you know these programs are underfunded and need more "revenues"?

Doctor, Doctor...thanks for giving us the news. This should get a great speech at Yale. I haven't read "The War Against Boys...." but I have a fairly good idea of what's in that book just from observing the radical feminists and the change in young men over the last 20 years. If men would just show genuine strength and stand up to feminists, then the feminists would respect us much more.

Belay my last - dug a little further and found Wade's e-mail address on Fordham's site. Really do not know why it got under my skin this morning but I sent him the following and will post a reply - if I get one;-)
Subj: Listening Skills
Dr. Wade,
I am curious, as I have stumbled upon several web pages that quote you as saying "shut the f***, bitch" to a scheduled speaker at a government sponsored event.
Could you please confirm or deny this?
The referenced speaker was Christina Hoff Sommers, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and the event was the conference on "Boy Talk" (a program sponsored by the Center for Substance Abuse and Prevention (CSAP) of the Department of Health and Human Services).
Thank you in advance for your most timely reply,
Dave Dilegge

This sounds as exciting as when, in 1989, a doctor from Florida, attending his class reunion at Yale, burned "Nelson Mandela City." NM City was a mock shantytown constructed of scrap lumber and boxes by radical leftist student groups on the square at Yale's Woolsley Hall where the men of Yale who have fallen in battle in service to our country are honored. It was a big pile of trash desecrating the memorial, where occasionally, leftists would sleep in overnite to show ther "solidarity" with the African National Congress. There was usually some volunteer hanging around to "guard" the shantytown. However, one particular morning, whoever was supposed to be on "guard duty" had partied too much the night before, or something, and was not at his or her post. While out for his morning jog, the good doctor set fire to the shantytown and it burned to the ground. He was spotted by another early morning jogger who followed him and apparently became a witness for the prosecution after the doctor was charged with arson. Oh the self-rightious hue and cry by campus leftists after that incident! :

I woke up a little grumpy this morning I woke up dopey. Accidentally hit her in the ribs with my elbow.

"Resolved, That Women's Studies is Not a Legitimate Academic Discipline" is the subject of Sommers' speech. It probably won't meet with great approval at that bastion of poloitival correctitude in New Haven.

In college I studied engineering. While I was working hard to understand thermodynamics, statics, calculus, and physics--the "Womyn's Studies" students were in the hallway on their backs, legs spread, knees up, chanting, and practicing "giving birth" to Iris Gosh, that reminds me of my carefree grad school days when all the white heterosexual males were run out of the Conference On Diversity. Seems our presence there fostered a climate of bigotry and hate and was not welcome.
Oh well. . . you try to be a nice guy and they just won't let you.

poloitival correctitude That probably should read "political correctitude." I think one of the Womens' Studies professors has gotten control of my keyboard.

Yeah, that is what I saw at U of Illinois. I saw a bunch of black guys dressed up in chains on COlumbus day... wait I mean "Indigeonous Peoples Genocide day".
They put the chains on themselves . I thought the irony was perfect since the same stupid leftist attitudes are what keep black people in chains of poverty and exclusion.
Unfortunately I also was studying engineering and had NO time to go make fun of them.

I rememeber when I was a teen, an unknown group of people destroyed the 'Shantytown' the leftists had built on the common at Dartmouth... Normally, during the winter the common at Dartmouth has ice sculptures and such, and the campus was really a beautiful place - then they "built" a shanty town... oh well, it ain't there no more... ;0)
