Are you saying that Handle's no Messiah?
To: Joe Hadenuf
I was a regular caller to Handel when he first came to KFI. He gave me a few shameless plugs for my real estate consulting business and I actually brought in a catered breakfast for the staff by a world class chef.
A few years later, however, I was cutoff and banned from the show when I called Bill Clinton a rapist.

Mr. Limbuagh has has liberals do his show before. Chris Mathews from Hardball did his show once.

John Corbett..... Yum..... They are running one of his California ads right now. For anyone who doesn't know his name, he was Chris, the DJ/minister on Northern Exposure.
They should ask him to sub for Rush! I could listen to him for three hours, no problem. Who's with me?

Are you saying that Handle's no Messiah? No. I am saying Handle is a obnoxious, perverted liberal.

Bill Handel is not my favorite by a long shot, but while he dishes it out he can also take it, as shown daily on his LA show. He's good medicine for some waaaaaaay tooooooo uptight and humourless conservatives once in a while. No harm, no foul. Turn the knob.

He is probably in California attending an audiologist appointment. His implant requires him to attend "mapping" sessions to continually customize his processor to hear properly. Give Rush a break.

Suggested guest hosts for Rush:
Jay Sekulow
Camille Paglia
Mark Levin

Why on earth did Rush take the day after the SOTU off? Oh gee, I wonder. Maybe it made him sick to his stomach....

See my post #63.

I can't even tell you why I don't like him!!! It's that aura thing I guess. Maybe because he came on so strong and he seemed argumentative and combative.

I guess Alan Keyes was too busy picking out sweaters.

I believe that Rush is following President Bush's lead in this (perhaps at GW's behest to tone down the rhetoric on both sides in order to get something meaningful done in D.C. for a change). I don't believe that Rush thinks for a minute that the liberal media (including his guest hosts)are going to magically transform into God fearing conservatives. I think he's playing this hand and waiting for the (predictable) results, so that he can once again reinforce his patented statement, "See, I told you so".

Who for some inexplicable reason likes to let that liberal socialist Jay Diamond substitute for him. :) Unlike Rush, I don't think Bob gets to say who fills in for him when he is away. E.g. it's pretty clear to me that he has no use for Joan Rivers (nor she for him) but she has occupied Grant's time slot in the past when he has been away.

Doesn't seem to be much of a response to my question. In typical liberal fashion, you attempt to change the context of the discussion when you can't come up with an answer. Whatever. I have better things to do with my time than deal with this juvenile discussion you have started. Farewell.
To: Joe Hadenuf
as far left as you can get? Either this is hyperbole or you need to get around more. He waffles back and forth issue by issue. Far left would be Noam Chomsky or for radio Bernie Ward.

I agree, especially with Levin. He's great.
I would add James Golden aka Bo Snerdly to the list. It's a shame that Rush doesn't give him a shot.

Can we assume that Tony Snow, Walter Williams, Roger Hedgecock, and the other normal "subs" have other commitments? No, with the exception of Walter Williams, the spokesmouths for the Republicans can't show their faces today after the expansion of government spending speech last night.
To: TADSLOS
Just a question, but aside from (a) letting the military fight the war, (b) cutting our taxes and (c) reducing job-killing gov't regulations, what meaningful thing do you want the people in Washington D.C. to accomplish?
