Getting his ears checked is a new low for Rush??????No, I didn't say that. Its his choice of host to stand in.
Better get your eyes checked Laz.
To: Keeper of the Turf
Could Rush be at the Pebble Beach Pro Am, although I didn't see him on the list of celebrities. James Woods and Bill Murray are playing though.

He is alot better than Tony "I am going to hypnotize you into a deep slumber" Snow That's funny. I thought I was the only one who thought he was a little too unexcitable.

I LOVE the voices

Thankfully Handel has 3 conservatives (Paul the Wall, Gallacher and Marotta) on his morning talk show team all hollering at him when he goes overboard.
To: truthkeeper
He's Libertarian?
To: vbmoneyspender
Handel is certainly not a favorite of mine. I still like B-1 Bob & Hedgecock is good IMO. Thank goodness it is not Snow. As a program director for RUSH I would have as many different subs as possible so one can get a flavor of some wonderful consevatives talk show hosts. Hey what about that Laura Ingram? Get a women on. How about Ken Hamblin? How about Chuck Harder? So many so little time.

>He also makes fun of Christians - and God -
Not to mention that he also makes fun of his fellow Jews constantly.
To: Joe Hadenuf
Come on now. Bill Handel is not a perverted liberal...just a complete nutcase.

He mentioned earlier that he wasn't going to play this year. Maybe he changed his mind.

Ken Gallegher, the most conservative of the bunch, is his best adversary. Remember the time he told him, "At least my wife and I raise our own children." LOL...I don't think Handel liked that one. (His stay-at-home-wife has a live-in nanny.)
To: Joe Hadenuf
I think to try and educate the liberal talk show host. But you know... it's like getting blood from a turnip. Call Rush the eternal optimist I guess.

BS
To: Joe Hadenuf
Do you do this every time Bill Handle subs for Rush? Good grief. Calm yourself down.
To: Floratina
Phil Hendrie is brilliant!
Funniest guy on the radio-bar none..
To: Sunshine Sister
I hated Dornan. In fact I was just thinking to myself, this guy may not see eye to eye with me, but he's better than Bombastic Bob!No kidding? Really? I LOVE B1-Bob. I think he is a tremendous American, a tell it like it is kind of man, and I love him....100% What a good, good man!

I guess it would take a Republican wildcat to minimize Rush's choice of host. You obviously don't know, "Handle yourself in the morning".

"Handel can be pretty."
I meant to say, "pretty funny," I just did a Handelism myself...
Also, Handel has said over the air on KFI that he respects that this is Rush's show and definetly features those opinions of his that are more in line with Rush's show and audience when he hosts the EIB show. He isn't pretending.
To: Joe Hadenuf
Handel's hosting on Rush's program is a little incestuous, corporate cross-promoting, nothing more.
Bill Handel, the guy subbing for Rush, is morning host at KFI, Los Angeles. KFI is owned by Clear Channel Communications, the media conglomerate that also owns Premier Radio, the firm that employs Rush and syndicates his program. Premiere is also syndicating a weekend law program, hosted by Handel.
My guess is that the suits at Clear Channel arm-twisted Rush to let Handel sub for him, as a way of promoting Handel's syndicated show. Still, it's a little disturbing that Rush would allow someone like Handel to sub for him. Can we assume that Tony Snow, Walter Williams, Roger Hedgecock, and the other normal "subs" have other commitments?

Nevertheless, he is unpredictable, coming up conservative on one out of maybe 10 issues. I believe he supported Bush over Gore, no?
