Tonight just before 6:00 PM on the Karel show on KFI in Los Angeles, Bill Press said something for which I hope he has to pay.
I was on my way to dinner and only heard a few minutes of the show. Press and Karel were talking about the Bush foreign policy and Press was criticizing the president. Press and Karel were talking about how Bush would not take on Saudi Arabia as a member of the evil axis.
Of course, Press had a reason the president won't take on Saudi Arabia --- it is oil. And because, in the words of Bill Press, "Bush is on the take." Press might have said "He is on the take," and if so, he was clearly talking about the president. Either way, he made the statement. It is outrageous and he needs to be called on it. Big mouth Press has shot off his mouth one too many times.
Did anyone else hear the show? Someone in the news needs to hear about this. I am sure they can get the tape from KFI. Carl Limbacher, where are you?

I missed it but don't doubt that Press said it.Even Knovak is after Bush. CNN is anti-American every chance they get.

If it is oil, wouldn't Press have been more accurate from his point of view to say that the US is on the take (which is also a wrong headed comment IMO but that can be debated)? The personalization of it seems purile. But then Press's pic is beside that word in the dictionary, or should be.

Most Democrats have had to up their meds due to Bush's poll numbers. Obviously, Bill still needs to adjust his dosage.

Have you noticed how red his face gets and how distended his neck veins become, when he discusses GW ? He is almost incoherent with hatred.

Doug, did you see Bill Press on The O'Reilly Factor? By the end of the interview, O'Reilly was performing every ritual of male dominance short of mock mounting the slob. Press is a dull "ham 'n egger", as Bobby Heenan used to say.

I don't know for sure what Novak's beef is, but I suspect he's burned some bridges and has no access to insiders in the White House or GOP Congressional leadership right now. I think he's being fed and nurtured exclusively by the McCain crew and agents from the left.

People like Bill Press or Bill Maher don't bother me much...they don't make a secret as to where they stand. It's the talking heads on networks that I find offensive. They have traded on the respect earned by others and used it to spew their own agendas. The fact that viewers are leaving them in droves, has not changed their attitude one whit because they truly believe they are right. They actually see it as their job to lead us in one direction or another. They went out of their way to get clinton elected....that alone speaks volumns about their judgment. If Dan Rather told me the sun would rise in the morning...I'd still get up and look outside to be sure.

Each time an American fills up the tank and the dollars and the gallons blink by at the same pace they praise the President.
If the price of petroleum rises he can point to the need for his energy and foreign policies. If the price stays low he can point to the success of his energy and foreign policies.
The Dems have no upside on this one, which is why Press can only put on the tin foil hat.
The left can't figure out which hand to use anymore. It's masturbation either way.

Doug,
This just proves how damn dumb Bill Press really is. Anyone with a brain knows that Bush thumbed his nose at OPEC by shifting millions of barrels of oil purchases to the Russians, causing oil prices to plummet. I don't recall the exact numbers, but Iraq shipped only about 20-25% of the oil in a recent month that they did the month before. Presumably, Saudi also took a big hit.

Doug,
One more thing... Rush always makes fun of his critics who say he (Rush) will lose share with Republicans in power. He says, and Press confirms it, that his share increases when the Republicans are in power because of the hysterical antics of the Dims.

What interests me most is this thread even exists. Bill Press is not even that important enough to warrant a whole thread of his own on FR. Think about it. He's gotten more press (pun intended) here on FR than he will get anywhere else. How about if we just ignore him and his irrational speak!

Yep, that press is a typical Liberal sock puppet.
Flying below the radar (not mentioned anywhere in FR) is the fact that OPEC has cancelled their announced production cuts (mainly due to Russian increases).
This benefits Saudi Arabia - NO.
This benefits the US "Oil Patch" - NO.
The benefits the US economy - YES.
So who is Bush paying back?
Once again events have conspired to proved a RAT to be wrong.
