Some people think that terrorists crashing planes into the World Trade Center and killing thousands of Americans was a tragedy. It is instructive that your newspaper considers it a matter of great mirth. Does Osama bin Laden puts out a newspaper? Is publishing the "cartoon" your job application? Your total lack of judgment has offended millions of Americans and you owe your country an apology. (You owe your cartoonist an all expense paid trip to Guantanamo where he can share quarters with his ideological compatriots.)
Your cartoon depicting President Bush flying into a replica of the WTC was in poor taste. I understand that Political Cartoonists lampoon current events in order to hammer home a point, but using a disaster that claimed the lives of 3,000 people as the butt end of a polical "joke" is inexcusable.
I suggest you get a new cartoonist..and an editor for that matter.....
