Larry asked them about it just now on Larry King Live (2-11-2), and they refused to deny it.

I found a link on the Internet for Domino's, the typical late-night delivery chain, and I found that their store nearest the UCSD campus only delivers 'til 1am on Saturday nights

even if they did deliver past 3am, no jury would ever believe that what they served could be called pizza.

oh stop it. you know it's true. now, back to the thread.

Pedophilia is absolutely NOT something which exists as an interest among swingers.

How can you substantiate such a broad claim? I'll answer for you: You can't, not even if you were King Swinger in the USA and knew every swinger in the country personally. All you can know from your own activities is your own sexual predilections.

Any proper scientific study of the swinger community would turn up much higher rates of deviant behavior in all areas of sexual conduct, including pedophilia. You are dreaming if you think otherwise.

That must be a fun phone call to the grandparents.." Mom, can you take the kids while the wife and I go have sex with a bunch of other people?"

*sputtering with trying to laugh quietly* heheheheh

In their dreams unless they learned it from parents. This type of behavior is often vigorously defended when confronted, but at the same time, usually making an effort to keep hidden from family, neighbors and work associates.

I had misgivings when I first heard the father heard the alarm, saw an open door..AND WENT BACK TO SLEEP? Not in my house. My husband would have checked everyone and gone outside to check too.

The mother has taken and passed a polygraph. The police will not comment on the father or the neighbor taking one, which makes me think that they probably haven't, or the results weren't squeaky clean. Applying Occam's Razor makes me tend to believe the father and this neighbor are somehow involved.

I've noticed in the interviews that I've seen of the couple that the husband rarely, if ever, looks into the camera. It's like how Susan Smith was in interviews when her kids allegedly "were kidnapped". It makes me very uneasy as to what the husband knows or might have done.

Uhm, I can think of numerous cases where kids in the rural South have been carjacked. Of course, the guys don't usually keep them or kill them (thank god)

You didnt address my question, but I will address yours. I would think that practically every parent hides aspects of their lifestyle from their children until those children are old enough to understand the issue. I dont know why children should determine what adults do or dont do. They are children, right? I think you are overstating your point.

You seem to have difficulty understanding the word, "lifestyle." Would you agree that a single lifestyle is different than a married lifestyle? Would you agree that a homosexual lifestyle is different from a heterosexual lifestyle?

One's behaviors arise from what one thinks and believes. My children have had the example of a faithful, monogamous, married lifestyle. They know that intimacy between a man and woman in the context of is a joy. My kids may giggle or make faces when they see my husband kiss me, but actually...it makes them feel very secure.

I am curious as to why you feel compelled to defend and promote a non-monogamous marriage lifestyle. I am curious as to what motivates you into attacking monogamy.

What raised a flag with me -- and I mentioned so to co-workers the following morning, was that the father's first statement was a "written, prepared statement", and didn't come across as very heartfelt -- sort of "lawyerly", and staged. Hmmm.

Susan Smith's story was totally bogus from the start. Anyone who has driven the road where she said the incident happened would have know that she was lying. She had said that the stoplight was red and that she was carjacked then. The light would have only been red for her if a car were coming from her left or right and she had told the officers that there were no other cars there at the intersection. The sheriff or police chief (I forget which) let her hang herself.

I would not be uncomfortable telling them about it when they were old enough to understand.

Please don't! I highly recommend that you never tell them about it. Most people would be horrifed to learn that as they were growing up their father had been sleeping with people other than their mother, and vice versa. They would probably be devastated, and I imagine that they would look back upon their childhood -- and your marriage -- in an entirely different way. Some things are better left unknown. Nothing good would come out of it. Nothing, that is, except problems for your kids...
