Good to see the old traditions kept alive.
I would try to respond with some good fish puns but compared to what is already on this thread I am a Piker. I am most certain I would be foiled in any attempt to use this for a punning opportunity because I have certainly been tardy to this thread and I must live with that gaff. Of course some of these puns are not truely punc at all becuase they use the similaroty of sound to emulate a true pun. Remora like they cling to the sounds of a famous line. The net effect is a whole lot of groans.
As to the actual incident a beer bottle is not particlarly a good method of parrying the lunge and as this story proves pointedly.
