BEIJING (AP) -- President Bush softened his "axis of evil" rhetoric in Asia, but his strong words already had gotten North Korea's attention, Secretary of State Colin Powell said Friday. Indeed, North Korea shot back that Bush was "a politically backward child."

Is Jimmy Carter an expert on terrorism?
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Former President Carter also criticized Bush's language. "I think it will take years before we can repair the damage done by that statement," Carter said. He called the statement "overly simplistic and counterproductive." We are still reeling from this a$$hole's foreign policy as he lets the Panama Canal go, lets the Soviets in invade Afghanistan, and let Iran hold our hostages for 444 days.

Is Jimmy Carter an expert on terrorism? Yes. He helped launch it back in the 1970's. And he was such a great president! In fact, if it were not for ex-42, he would stand head and shoulders above the worst of the lot.

Nope. He's not an expert on foreign policy, either, as his record clearly shows. Also, he lacks expertise on diplomacy, as his gratuitous swipe at our CIC also shows. He is, however, a proven expert on crashing our economy, demoralizing and short-changing our service people, and giving away the store to international leftism.

Just what damage is the little horse toothed jackass talking about?...Hurting the feelings of a repressive tyrant who is starving his own people int submission? Must not use harsh language, you know. It might damage someone's self-esteem.

Once and a$$hole........always an A$$HOLE. I wonder if he asked Amy for advice before he made his statement ??

Jimmy was the "best" president we ever had -- not!
After all, it was almost the day he left office that the Iranians released all our hostages. That couldn't have been Reagan's tough stance at all. It was all those yellow ribbons and the virtual shutdown of the presidency during the hostage crisis that caused the Iranian fundamentalists to release them. He sure does know his foreign policy!

We're still repairing the damage you did in Afghanistan and Iran, Mr. Carter. Not to mention Panama, Nicaragua, Angola etc., etc. So, like, go pack sand or something.

Is Jimmy Carter an expert on terrorism?I can't remember if it was Jimmy Clinton or William Jefferson Carter. Regardless, they were both useless and detrimental.
BTW, I was a stauch democrat before Carter served his term. I voted Republican ever since.

Don't forget one of his solutions for the eyesores of crumbling tenements in the South Bronx. He had fake windows put up to cover the real problem just like this stupid comment he is making now.

Why do DemocRat ex-Presidents still think their President? You don't see Bush Sr, Nancy Reagan or Ford making public statements about what GWB should do.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Jimmy Carter was totally ineffective on foreign policy. If the U.S. president can't criticize North Korea, arguably the worst totalitarian state on earth, we can all hang it up. Do you believe that Clinton's plan has us giving North Korea reactors for free that will produce enough material for HUNDREDS of atom bombs? But don't worry, it will be "hard" for them to divert it.

Is Jimmy Carter an expert on terrorism? NO. But that doesn't keep him from attempting to be taken seriously.
