I remember that promise too. Both Clintons made that pledge. Maybe they think it "repayment" because they have kept those staffers on the payroll, one way or the other.

Mark Gearan got his Peace Corps job. Maggie Williams is still working for Hillary. Lisa Caputo landed herself a big bucks job at CBS. Why, Suzie Hubbell still has her 80,000 a year government job, for all we know. If you go down the list, all the really key Clintonoids are still reaping their rewards, and most of them through intervention or collusion by the Clintons.

Mack McLardy's big gas and communications contracts in South America and China, Cheryl Mills, now a honcho with Oxygen television, (and we don't know if she's still Bruce Lindsey's main squeeze.)

I can't think of a single main player who isn't still schilling for the Clintons, and getting paid to do it.
