I just saw "We Were Soldiers" this afternoon.

It was an excellent movie. Horrific as it was, I'm proud of those soliders who died for their country. They make me proud to be an American.

I lost it when Mel Gibson was talking to the photographer guy at the end of the movie and said "I'm sad that MY MEN died and I didn't." God Bless Hal Moore. Although, I wasn't even born yet at that time, I am forever grateful for all of our vets who have fought for the very freedom I have.

You'll be great on JW.

...Golly, Gee and ALOHA MotleyGirl70...

...Thanks for listening and...

...Thanks for your caring.

...We IA DRANG-1965 Vets owe the ..'Braveheart'.. Crew much for sharing our Story from long ago for the now in a new -Time of War-.

...To win at war ..Americans MUST always take care of each other on the Battlefield and at Home.

...For Enemy Within TOM DASCHLE (D) to attack a BUSH Administration that is at such great a risk that it has to do a Split-Screen Government .."Just in Case"... is Treasonable.

I wasn't born then either but I am very appreciative of what those men did. I just saw the movie and it was excellent. It seems like the last few years have been full of good and what I imagine and hear to be realistic war movies. Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down and We Were Soldiers are all on my must own list...
