One of the saddest scenes in the movie was the soldier being wheeled through the airport...and being ignored.

I don't know if I'm reading too much into this...AND I don't think this is a spoiler...
But the next time you see the film (in case you didn't notice),
read the sign over the door at the end of the airport hallway the soldier is being wheeled
down.

I think it was sending a nice, subtle message about the status assigned to a lot of the
returning vets.

Yep, that scene wrecked me pretty well too.
