And figure this one out...The cops were searching for Danielle, and said they had to focus on Westerfield because he was the only one gone from the neighborhood. ...WHY didn't they get a search warrant for his Motor Home, call the highway patrol and stop him in his tracks, to search the Motor Home?

Keep in mind, a highway patrolman can search your vehicle if he even suspects drugs or weapons in your car. So why didn't they send out an all points bulletin to search for Westerfield?

Most likely because there is a VERY good chance a trail judge would find they had insufficient evidence to get a search warrant at that time,and throw out the search and all the evidence found during it. That's assuming they could even find a judge willing to give them a search warrant allowing them to run a mobile crime scene lab through the motor home at that time.
