Anybody recognize any fellow FReepers in the crowd?

in Modesto during the Democratic primary election as Condit tries to
become re-elected on March 5, 2002. His opponenet Dennis Cardoza

Way to go Condit country Freepers! Garu trailing by a margin of 2 to 1 (according to ABC)

Keep on voting to the end at 8PM EST!!

Gary did NOT look like a happy camper as he voted himself today, either....

Rep. Gary Condit, D-Calif., talks to the media after voting in Ceres,
Calif., Tuesday, March 5, 2002. Condit was considered a shoo-in for
re-election before getting caught up in the case of missing intern
Chandra Levy, but now Condit's main opponent in the Democratic
primary is holding a big advantage according to internal polls.

O'Reilly just reported that when a Fox reporter Claudia Cowen tried to interview Condit, he replied "I don't speak to tabloids." He should have added "but I'll have affairs with people who appear in them."

That's why I posted the vanity earlier. This one ain't over at all.

Jim Blanchard was up 10 midday against John Engler in 1990. Engler upset Blanchard.

Bush was up 2 in Michigan(internal polls), but a high Detroit turnout happened(As well as cigs for votes). He lost by 5.

Lets not take anything for granted, count on a 15 minute wait after work before dinner because there are less voting machines for Republicans than there are Dembocrats.

Explain please.......more democrat voting machines then Republican voting machines? There are different machines in California for dems and Repubs?

That 106% turnout in certain Detroit precincts certainly didn't help the President. :-)

codebreaker I live in Condit's district. My wife is a Democrat. She and her female friends loathe the man for what he did to Chandra Levy, and intend to bury him today.

And yet the same hypocritical bloody cows overwhelmed common sense -- not to mention Moral Integrity -- in their rush to erect the bent one.

Go figger .....

My estimate is there are less registered Republicans than Democrats so they have skewed the voting machines so that the GOP has to wait 15 minutes.

Disenfrachisement anyone?

The networks are about as reliable as a crack whore.

That's an insult to every crack-whore who ever graced a sidewalk.

So the soccer moms helped Riordan narrow the lead a bit.... that's down from 20. Question is can they help him win the primary? Its looks like its close at the moment, but the smart money says Simon still wins comfortably.
