John Deere to Cut 200 Jobs in Illinois

MOLINE, Ill. -- Agricultural machinery giant Deere & Co. will close its Springfield electronics plant, eliminating about 200 jobs within nine months.

The company's plan calls for Deere's Phoenix International plant to close by Nov. 30 and the work performed there to be eliminated or added to the workload at the Phoenix International plant in Fargo, N.D.

I wonder how big the John Deere CEO bonuses are this year? The suits tend to profit greatly and get huge bonuses as a result of their layoffs.
