Truth is definitely stranger than fiction. Must be a great nurse's aide.

I agree with the asst. district attorney. I can't think of any words to adequately describe this. How heartless could someone be?

Mallard's attorney, Mike Heiskell, said the accusation against her was unwarranted. "I think this is overreaching on the part of the prosecution and the police and, in the end, I believe the law will shake out that this was simply a case of failure to stop and render aid," he said.
MH should be so fortunate.

Mr. Attorney, I'd say that was an slight understatement.
She failed to stop until she pulled into her garage with a bleeding man sticking out of her windshield.
She failed to render aid for 2 days until the man died.
I think the attorney is on the same drugs as his client.

Insane. It sounds like the sub-plot of a bad comedy movie.

NOW we have a place where the homeless can stay for a couple of days without having to resort either to public shelters or public parks: windshields.

Mallard told police she periodically went into the garage to apologize to him, but she did nothing about his cries for help. She must have been a klinton follower.

Hitting the man may have been an accident, doing what she did later makes it murder.Women can fry in the electric chair as well as a man.No matter how bad this is i wouldn't be surprised to see the courts buckle.

This is right out of the old HBO series Tales from the Crypt.
Unbelievable story.

"I think this is overreaching on the part of the prosecution and the police and, in the end, I believe the law will shake out that this was simply a case of failure to stop and render aid," he said. Parking him in the garage prevented anyone else from rendering aid. This was cold-blooded murder.
