The vast majority of them came through Ellis Island and came legally. Many Mexicans also make the decision to come legally -----amnesty just rewards law-breakers.

You're right, the more things change, the more they stay the same, including your mental lapse of the word, "illegal". However, you have an axe to grind here. You're representing illegals either in "law", have illegal relatives, are profiting off them, or you are simply ignorant of the situation.
