I understand where you're coming from. Now I see immigrants every day. Many don't speak English at all. But they work hard and have traditional values. You saw how the Cubans in Miami destroyed Gore's attempts to recount away the election. They are true Americans! What about some white guy who watches tv all day while waiting for his welfare check? What can we do-he's an American citizen and we have to pay for his irresponsible behavior. What about those students who burn the flag and protest the war? Guess what-we pay for their student loans because they are American citizens. But what have they done for America besides being born here? They don't have to do anything!

Have you toured a jail or prison lately? Or a housing project or county hospital? Many of the immigrants aren't working at all or are working part time which is why in most of the border counties, $7000 income per year for a family is common.

If all govt welfare and subsidies were eliminated, how many of these people do you think would come here? My guess is not too many. It is simply wrong to extort our hard-earned FRNs to pay someone for sitting on his a$$, black, white, or whatever. Money is the big attraction here. These folks have no idea what freedom or liberty is, it's simply not their culture. Bush is a fool to think that he will garner enough latino votes to make up for what he will lose from his traditional base. He is a one-term president.

Miami was one of Gore's BIGGEST wins in Florida. That was one the four counties where Alpha male demanded infinite "recounts" trying to pick up more 'RAT votes. Look at the "RED" Gore areas. He also got heavy support in the southwestern border counties of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California...
