On February 2^nd 2002, a tragedy struck the quiet community of Saber Springs California, a suburb in San Diego county.

Danielle van Dam was missing.

25 days later, her lifeless body was found by volunteers along the side of a busy street in a remote area in East San Diego county.

Hundreds of mourners, most didn’t even know Danielle, left angels, bears, balloons and well wishes at the site.

People involved with the van Dams took it upon themselves to remove these sacred mementos and re-locate them to Saber Springs.

Many mourners were deeply offended and upset by this action.

We would like to keep the area where Daniell’s body was found as a place of reflection, not of the horrific act that was committed, but of the thought of this bubbly and vibrant seven year old.

In our quest to build a memorial to Daniell’s memory,

we are asking for your support.

Together, you and I can reach our goal of creating and maintaining a glorious memorial to little Daniell’s memory.

By purchasing and Earth Urn, a percentage of the funds raised will go directly into an account for the purpose of creating this memorial.

This is a grass roots effort. We know that some people involved with the van Dam’s may not support our effort, but many of you will support this.
