If Bush maintains confidence in the INS commissioner, why did he order Ashcroft and Ridge to get to the bottom of it? Further, it is a sign of bad management to ask two separate people to be responsible for the same job.

No, I don't feel better, safer, etc. I want less government, not more.

Less government. That sounds vaguely familiar. Now where have I heard that? Was that an old campaign slogan of Herbert Hoover's? It's catchy. Impossible but catchy,
