Nobody in their right mind wants a civil insurrection, but Americans will only allow the govt to push them so far. I don't know where the limit is , but it's got to be close. Just look at the responses of otherwise stalwart Republicans on this thread.<p.I voted for Bush also, and now I sincerely regret it.

The best thing for Conservatives to do is focus on running the electable candidates they have, especially in the heartland, where people understand what freedom means. In the cities, people have no concept, of freedom, so they vote themselves money for everything.

It's now become a struggle between city and rural folk. Happens that rural folk have it right, and should concentrate on making it happen. Hard work and Opportunity are what make a nation great, prosperous and righteous, not entitlements, much as anyone would like to collect them or feel that they deserve them.
