This is not "Tom Clancy" speaking. It is a character in a fictional book. To say this is "Author Tom Clancy about the USS Liberty" is completely misleading and wrong. The last poster was more gentle in calling you out on this. I am stating that the post or message you duplicated is essentially a lie with respect to the attribution.
Now, can a Clancy experty tell us who "Qati" was and what the conditions were under which this fictional character thought or spoke the statement?
