It isn't really a leap at all to go from whacking babies as they exit the birth canal to using them for sex. The Rosie/Poundstone/NOW crowd has no use for kids now anyway other than their own selfish personal ends, and they care more about defending baby spotted owls than baby human beings. Only a few years ago it would have been impossible to conceive of the attitude we have now toward abortion (which is, basically, who cares, it's not my concern what they do if it doesn't affect me personally---kinda like when the Nazis were whacking the Jews in Germany).
The "right of a woman to her own body," and the "right to do whatever you want in your own bedroom"----can't one see how easily these can be extrapolated---Clinton what-is-is-style---into the right of homos like Rosie and Poundstone and Michael Jackson to purchase their own children and then do with them as they wish in the "privacy of their own bedroom," and if you object, then you are like the eeeveeeel "Pat Robertson or Dr. Laura or Jerry Falwell" or people like that who get attacked EVEN HERE ON FREE REPUBLIC!!
THEN what about those who can't AFFORD to purchase their own children, who can't afford to adopt or foster? What about those poor souls DRIVEN by their sexual drives to commit the acts in public restrooms at the mall or playground? How DARE society harass these people! To arrest and prosecute these people for their natural sexual orientation is exactly the same as what was done to MATTHEW SHEPPARD!
I think we who have lived to see the changes in this nation from the fifties to the present, and from Roe v. Wade to the present----we can see exactly what is going to happen to our children if we continue as we are going. And, of course, if a voice in the wilderness cries out in defense of the child and to call the homosexual exactly what he is---like, say, a Dr. Laura, for example---then THAT person is attacked as a mean hypocrite EVEN on forums like FR.
