Thanks for the heads up. This whole case is both sad and just plain gross at the same time.

The only danger I see is that if a civil suit is launched this early, it might jeopardize the actual criminal case launched by the state. But if his son feels he can obtain some level of justice with this lawsuit, more power to him.
