FROM Europe: No business anywhere. Not the South of France, not England. Streets not crammed with tourists. Not even Arabs who once outnumbered Brits in London. Monaco's annual summer gala was called "sad." Decorations weren't A-1. No super VIPs. Not even the principality's entire ruling family. Rainier, yes; Caroline, yes; Albert, yes; Stephanie, no. One reason being, Princess Caroline did not wish the event sullied by a family member who - as reported - is diddling with the palace butler. Or footman. Or chamberperson. Alas, poor Stephanie, we knew her well.
