If you haven't noticed, the United States looks much like the way the communists wanted this country to look way back in 1963. We can thank the liberal-biased media, liberal Democrats, liberal political groups such as NOW, ACLU, NEA,PETA, etc....I won't forget to thank all of the ignorant sheeple who sat by and allowed people like Bill Clinton sell our country out because their "daddy", "their daddy's daddy and his dadddy's daddy" all voted Democrat. See where it has gotten you and the rest of us.

This one, by the way, has an easy counter: Point out that documents such as the Federalist Papers were published anonymously to prevent people from tainting them with the personal issues of the authors, forcing people to debate their arguments on their merits. Ask if they are willing to do the same thing today.

Not disputing the truthfulness of the goals, but just being in the congressional record doesn't mean much. Congress is allowed to make speeches in empty rooms to be added to the record, and they do it all the time.

Politicians aren't exactly noted for their honesty. While McCarthy was generally right, he also routinely manufactured numbers of communists in various government branches, and was often embarrassed when the press pointed out that, for example, the number of communists in the State Department kept changing from day to day.
