I wonder if anybody really checked this out

This sounds like something she may have made up to try and show she is not against hunters but onlt evil handguns but in the process screwed up by not realizing if it were true she broke the law

The gunshop should be checked out to see if she was really there

That angle reminds me of Tom Mauser, who said that a few days before his son Danel was killed at Columbine, he said, 'Dad, did you know there's a gun show loophole?'... Thing is, it took Tom a year and a half to 'remember' this little tidbit...
