Most of it looks pretty good. Especially the parts where he cut government spending.

Even though I have been miffed at some of the things Bush has done recently, I would have to say:

78) Restored decency to the Presidency the very moment his foot hit the carpet in the Oval Office.

TOP OF YOUR LIST SHOULD BE

#1. Helped KILL the first Ammendment

From Drudge just now...

Bush Will Sign Campaign Finance Bill Mon Mar 25,10:19 AM ET SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (Reuters) -

President Bush (news - web sites) said on Sunday he would sign landmark campaign finance reform legislation with only a slight hesitation, reflecting his ongoing concerns about the measure.

"I won't hesitate" signing it, Bush said at a joint news conference with Salvadoran President Francisco Flores as the president wrapped up a four-day trip to Latin America. "It will probably take about three seconds to get to the W, I may hesitate on the period, and then rip through the Bush." The legislation to reduce the influence of money in politics won final congressional approval last week, and Bush has pledged to sign it soon. The bill would ban unlimited contributions known as "soft money" to national political parties, limit such donations to state and local parties and restrict broadcast ads by outside groups shortly before elections.

I'm a member of the NRA, amongst several other gorups who supported this SHMUCK and who will now suffer for it.

Never again will I vote for a RINO.

Most of these are relatively minor executive actions. His really big stuff, with the exception of the tax cut, has been all liberal. And a tax cut without concurrent spending cuts is no bargain since we just pay for the expanding government through borrowing, higher interest rates, etc.

Here's a list:

(1) Education Bill that greatly expands the scope of federal intervention and funding (enabling even greater liberal indoctrination at the earliest ages).;

(2) Budget that increases the size of government greater than the rate of inflation, even factoring out increased defense spending;

(3) Steel tariffs of 30 percent which lower the standard of living, depress the economy and ruin our credibility as a global trade partner;

(4) Probable signing of an amnesty for illegal aliens;

(5) Probable signing of Campaign Finance Reform.

In terms of meaningfulness, the list of 77 pales in comparison with this list of 5.

This is funny. It's almost like the person who made the list is trying to imply that these things are bad.

And these are a problem because?

It is telling that they produce a one-sided laundry list of issues without explaining why the Bush administration did these things. Of course if your position can't stand up to scrutiny, about the only way to present it in a positive light is to suppress the other side.

I do really wish they'd get over Iran-Contra. Reagan and the "figures" involved were right and the Lefties were wrong. Again. So what else is new.

They'll be hell to pay if anyone finds out that I, too, am "unindicted."

Who do I see to get that fixed!

Even the few items in this list which appear to be bad are probably just due to the liberal penchant for twisting the spin. As in, stopping a very bad program which indoctrinates young people into 'alternative lifestyles' and the liberals spin it into 'Bush cancels millions in education'.

I didn't see one of his first, and one of my favorites... with his first Executive Orders, he re-inforced the 1988 SCOTUS Beck decision in which the Court concluded that workers required to pay union dues without joining the union can only be forced to contribute funds for three activities: collective bargaining, contract administration, or grievance adjustment. Anything other expenditures must be refunded. Of course, the unions ignore this law/SCOTUS decision/EO anyway, and may never be held accountable, and even if they are, they'll just pay some fines with MORE dues money, but at least the rule of law and individual property rights were paid SOME lip service.

I have always felt that most of the Good that Bush does will not attract media attention, because it will be done by the hundreds of conservatives he appointed to different places in the govt.
