Good Lord! Here you are again, slandering people without even having the most basic, lowest level of class to ping them so that they can respond. What kind of Christian acts in such a cowardly manner? For that matter, what kind of freeper, given the establishment at FR’s opinion on slamming people without being man enough to ping them:

when discussing another freeper, have the courtesy of flagging him or her. thank you.

No man, nor true Catholic, acts like you do.

Second, you and I have never discussed the seminaries, which is the focus of this article. We have discussed pedophilia, so there is no basis for yet another insult from you, but then you just hate.

Third, I do not deny that there is a problem in some of our seminaries. I have long known about the problems in Boston, for example, and do not deny they exist, and it is clear that the conduct that went on there for decades is related to the clergy-abuse crisis. Now if you want to imply that all of our seminaries are like that, then I disagree.

Oh, and by the way, I do plan to read the book.

Are you out of your mind? Honest to Pete, I have been complaining about the homosexual element in the priesthood since 1988. On Free Republic I have been posting since the first oppurtunity occurred. I have said that it is a terrible problem, that it will destroy the Church, that it must be addressed, that it is part of a bigger plan to destroy Western Civilization, and that it is an infiltration set in place early in this century.

I have written to my bishop, the newspapers, and the Vatican. I have spent money and time with groups that sponsored speakers, brought in to address the problem.I have been told by members of my family, who are "progressives" to not bring the subject up again.

I have given talks about problems in our local diocese that included the homosexual priest problem and not been asked back because I was too harsh and I offended gentler souls. How you could posssibly include me as one who won't admit the problem is beyond me.

The only thing I can think of is my absolute resistance to relaxing the celibacy discipline to solve the problem.I am opposed to it because it is part of the agenda.

Loosely stated; if the homosexual element in the priesthood is exposed and Plan A can't be implemented they will go to Plan B.Well,Plan A was exposed before it was completely in place. So Plan B is now in effect.Plan B,begins with the action to take if exposure occurs and that is to make sure the offense is couched in terms that will alarm the general public. To assure that put the focus on pedophilia, also have lay folks in the homosexual network start coming out and claiming they were abused long ago and sue or get them to pay "hush money" and further deplete the funds of the faithful.(You see, the money that they have paid out in so many "confidential arrangements" was just a "transfer" of funds from the Church Christ established to the enemies of that Church.)

Once that is accomplished,go to step 1,step 1 is to promote married priests.Plan B,step 2 is to open the door to women,Plan B,step 3 is to let the homosexuals, most of whom will still be in place BTW,have a "significant other",and ad infinitum. So the Church will be extinguished more slowly but the objective will be acheived.

I know many good, naive, caring people believe that is a solution and I know many clever, sly deceivers who say the same thing. But they do not mean it. They can sound oh,so sincere as they pretend to care about saving Catholicism and Christendom and offer what they hope is a "death blow" with a velvet covered hammer. I will continue to argue against married priests, risking the animosity engendered by good people who are convinced the only answer is "married priests". If I can just get people to think hard and long about remedies that may be deadly,I will believe I have done what I am supposed to do.

I throw this on the thread,it is the truth and it will fall where it will.We must clean house and do without many priests for a while but in the end it will be worth it.The Holy Spirit will guide us all through these times,we must pray so hard.

I used to wonder about the passage that loosely says "When you see the abomination of desolation on the altars the end is near". Is that what this is? I believe prayer and holiness stays God's hand, since it is not accomplished yet,we must pray and fight and seek to do God's will on earth as it is done in heaven.By the way,if the Pope would say that is what must be done you would now hear from me on that subject again.I am an obedient Catholic.
