The new Missouri Synod president, who has a lot of clout, has been an advocate of women's ordination. It was the liberal feminist and Pentecostal/Church Growth that got him elected.
The Wisconsin Synod said years ago in its official quarterly ("The Pope Speaks" aka Wisconsin Lutheran Quarterly) that there was nothing in the Bible against women's ordination.
Nuts. Looks like that ball is rolling. Any bets on the over under time frame? 7 years?
