How come they keep calling them female priests or women priests, isn't the correct term priestess?

Have you noticed that all the actresses are now actors? They make a point of calling themselves ac-tors. I know of feminist professors who will not allow the spelling of "woman" because it contains the odious term "man." However, the actresses must use the male term actor. I do not see it as a lack of consistency but as a constant assault upon the English language. If someone can win on the terms (and be pope of terminology), then most of the argument is won already. Therfore the term priestess and pastorette must be avoided because it detracts from womyn (the new spelling) trying to be men, I mean myn. If you cannot follow my reasoning, take two Midol and call me in the morning.
