And, folks, this bill HAD to go to the Supreme Court NOW while we still have enough Justices on it who value the Constitution, to settle this issue for the future.

While they're at it, why don't they pass bills to seize our houses, imprision us without trial, and march us off to the gas chambers? Then the Supreme Court will "settle the issues for the future"!

The truth is that this issue was settled over 200 years ago. No President, Congress, or Supreme Court, has the authority to restrict the Free speech of men and women.

The problem is that the politicans (of both parties) hate the Constitution and hold it in contempt.

And fortunately the founders gave us the solution to our problem over 200 years ago:

       "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

As anyone knows,  as you slide down a slippery slope, you pick up speed.  Our 2nd amendment rights, lost way back in 1931. Yet the 1st 2nd and 4th fell in the span of 8 months and the 5th isn't looking too healthy.  All this talk about '04 elections may be premature.
By 2004 we may have "absolute Despotism" or be embroiled in a new revolution.  Unfortunately, historically, the former is the more likely possibility with patriots branded "domestic terrorists"
