Was there confirmation of an earlier post that stated the Solicitor General would not be defending against legal challenges, but private attorneys hired by McCain?

I had not heard that. Maybe someone else can help us answer that one. I did hear McCain will get the pen that W. used to rip threw the signing of McCains and the democrats bill that takes away Free Speech. What a dumb bunch of democrats that think the American people will sit back and have Free Speech taken from them. Even dumber if they think they can bring the conservatives to their knees.

Can't anyone try and file a friend of the court brief ? Do you think McCAin would want to be out front on a losing battle even if Bush doesn't send him a pen ?
