Begala then goes on the couch. Asked by BuzzFlash, "How can you explain the virulent hate that so many people in the right wing have for Clinton?" he answers, "I believe these people hate themselves. I believe they hate our country. I believe they hate our culture (he's right about that, especially a culture that would tolerate the kind of unethical and immoral behavior that defined Bill Clinton). They can't accept the level of self-loathing that they have, and so they project it onto someone else."

HMMM, I could EASILY apply the Bold words above,to ALL of the humans who HATED " Richard Milhous Nixon",who ONLY wanted him out of Power,(what he did was wrong)but were actually just Extreme Lefties, right?Yes,I thought so!Begahhhhhhhhhla SURELY wouldn't have said this 26 years ago!!!Where are those statements HildeBeast made during the Nixon Days, huh? What a Two-Face!Still The Same!

I think you've got that right about the cattle futures. At the time it came out, there was one line I remember reading somewhere that commodities trades were used as way to pass politicians money.

Look at this guy Talent running for Governor in Missouri whose under heat for getting $90,000 to "teach" a single course, a course with no textbook, on being a Congressman. A sweetheart deal that no one but a pol could get. And if the pol isn't getting the money directly, his wife or his kids are getting it.

Whitewater itself was only intended to be a typical politician sweetheart deal. The idea that the Clintons were complicit in a scheme to defraud a federally guaranteed Savings and Loan was a huge leap.
