Is this hour for the purpose of playing more bad music?

The golf course must be crowded if they won't let him play through.

What's he been ranting about today (If I couldn't have guessed)?

The first 4th hour in the history of EIB.

He's been bitching about the Ramones' being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Did you hear him say a whole lot of bad things about The Ramones, who were inducted into the Music Hall of Fame while The Moody Blues weren't? And then a caller told him that the leader of the group was a conservative Reagan fan?
The caller was sure that the leader (Johnny Ramone? I forget his first name) was an EIB listener!!
Rush sorta said, "Uh oh" type of comment.

The Ramones were strongly ANTI-REAGAN; remember "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg?"

I love Rush, but his taste in music can be excruciating at times...GOD BLESS THE RAMONES!

I cant connect

The guitarist, Johnny, is very conservative, the rest of the band pretty lib. "Bonzo" was done under protest by Johnny, I believe.

Ooops, you're right, Rock & Roll, not Music Hall of Fame.
And I also omitted the word "probably" when the caller said that the leader of the group probably listens to Rush.

I was just quoting the caller. Rush seemed to not know one way or the other.
I had never heard the group before Rush played a little bit of their stuff.

Agreed...God Bless the Ramones!!!!
I watched their induction into the HOF, and was impressed by the sincereity of the one Ramone who said "God Bless America and God Bless President Bush".

Do you remember when Rush married Marta several years ago, he did bumper music that she selected. He called them, "Marta Bumps". I really didn't like them ... his choices before that were better, I thought.
But then, I'm a geezerette.

His bumper music is better than most radio shows. Savage has the best. And at least Rush has started using some Metallica and Pantera for bumper music.

As much as I love RR, I consider "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg" fair poltical critique via a Rock 'n Roll song.
Actually, I'm sure one would find many on this forum who disapproved of Reagan's visit to Bitburg, I had no problem with it.
