Choosing Our Weapons, Lets Roll
dork?...I guess you're still in high school or never got over it. The "real history" I read are e-mails from my nephew who is serving in Operation Enduring Freedom. He's not too happy about the Israelis making his job harder. But then I guess you don't give a rat's ass about real Americans serving their country, do you.
As an American, I don't give a rat's butt if you can't tell the difference between terrorists and soldiers- at least the overwhelming majority of us can tell the difference. But I'm sure some soldiers are pretty tired of hearing an American so enthiusiasticly support a pack of suicide-bombing terrorists as you have done on this forum.
It is an affront to our brave soldiers, sailors and airmen who are truly fighting in Operation Enduring Freedom.
'Fraid not. All I hear from them regarding Israel's activities is "About time, take out those sonsaxxxxxxches."
Just yesterday my government voted in the U.N. Security Council to condemn this re-occupation by the Israelis.
Now THERE is an insult to US troops. How dare you bring up the UN and 'soldiers, sailors and airmen' in the same post?
Yet today you try to link the two very dissimilar military operations as if they were sanctioned by President Bush under the name Operation Enduring Freedom.
Killing terrorists is close enough... the goal of bin Laden was to unify the muslim world by starting a religious war. Stirring up crap in Israel through everybodies' pet terrorist Arafat was an essential element in bin Laden's plans. No matter what Istrael would do, Arafat was to continue elevating the level of violence in order to finally provoke a fight which can be exploited to curry more violence in other countries and more terrorism against the US. Now that we see Syria trying to involve itself, and know that Hussein and Iran are involved, it's no surprise that al-Qeada is there too. All of these groups depend on one another.
As the US has pointed out in no uncertain terms, those who support terrorists are terrorists and there is no doubt that the PA does support terrorists. When their 'police officers' make bombs in their homes that leaves little doubt. When their leaders call for mass murder and murding of civilians as a policy, that leaves little doubt. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to point out that there is no justification for suicide bombing and blowing up pizza joints and children's parties specifically selected because the civilians are not Arafat supporters. There is no ethical justification for mobs lynching fellow palestinians.
Let me see if I get this correct. We were suicide bombed on Sept 11 of last year, our response was to hunt within and outside of our borders for those behind the bombings of our innocent civilians.
Isreal has been suicide bombed constantly for a while and especially since December last year, and with the exception of one ship outside of it's borders, Isreal's response was to hunt down those behind the suicide bombings of their innocent civilians within her own borders.
What is the difference here? According to your thinking it is okay to suicide bomb Isreali civilians, but not American civilians.
Goodie for your nephew, I doubt my brother who has just gotten back from the fight will whine like you and your nephew.
Suicide bombings are wrong, no matter who does it, when, where or why.
Occupation is a word used in order to try and justify the unjustifiable, or confuse the situation for those not paying full attention to what is going on in this world around us.
These people need to get a life, or have their's snuffed out.
You are ignoring that the Palistinians attacked Israelis with suicide bombing terrorism.
Therefore, the IDF goal has been to stop terrorism.
Therefore, OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM is similar to Operation Defensive Shield.
No a question to you: Why do you support people who burn American flags and kill Americans?
I still don't understand why we don't see these pictorial comparisons in the media:
(Actually, I do understand, it's a rhetorical "I don't understand" / slam on the lamestream media)
Thanks for all you do, Diogenesis.
I'd bet all the protesting "women" aren't women.
The head of the veiled individual to the left of center looks too broad across the top.
The gentlewomen to the right of center looks suspicious as well.
Few real women appear to go to so much trouble to cover up so much.
