I 100% agree with this guy.. using kids as a political statement is wrong no matter what the issue is! I also agree that if homosexual's want to promote tolerence than they should be prompoting just that through teachers at the school in a broad sense(hell even on a class that teaches any type of racism or bigotry is wrong). In any case what Knight wants is to say "Hey, you have your opinion and I have mine. Can we just leave it at that?" What this group is asking of kids isn't to promote tolerance but to promote the lifestyle as acceptable... Homosexuality should be viewed like any other political view.. or by people themselves.. Republicians may not agree with Dems but they don't go around hating and beating the crap out of em. Knight is right in the message he ist rying to get across.

Let no gay say that the gay movement is all about rights. It is an attempt to silence all opposition to their filth, and it is an attempt to take over the nation's youth.

Day of Silence? Why don't they would shut the f*ck up forever? I don't give a damn what these maladjusted freaks have to say.

OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please everyone....call your school district office and demand that they tell teachers any type of silence encouraged within our PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM IS A BETRAYAL OF basic education and is encouraging the agenda of a SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP in a tax payer supported format. FORGET ABOUT IT!!! DEMAND that the administrators send a note to all teachers saying this crap will not be tolerated!!!!!!!!!!! OR demand the right to have a day of your OWN to tell the FLIP SIDE homosexual lifestyles-----STARTING WITH THE LIFE SPAN of an active homoesexual.

Think about the voices you are not hearing today. What are you going to do to end the silence?" And you hand them a card back that says "End it?!!?? Are you kidding? I welcome the silence. I revel in it. If the strident voices of perversion are silenced forever, this world is the better for it. By all means remain silent, today, tomorrow and every day after. I for one will not miss you."

Currently, GLSEN estimates that students from more than 1,265 middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities "in all 49 states and Puerto Rico" will participate in the Day of Silence. That'll show 'em.

Hey rwfromkansas: Has this bit of PC mania infected good old McPherson High?

What a great opportunity to have informed students tell the duped kids what the facts really are, without fear of being interrupted by parroting of the pro-gay propaganda.

Something Bill and Hitlery planned I am sure.
