I'd say us men can take equal responsibility on this one. STD's could care less what "gender" you are.

Forget about the double standard. Sexual "open-ness" (legs, I guess) hurts women much worse than men. Men are often non-symptomatic, wheras women are symptomatic...plus are hurt permananrlty many times in regards to future pregnancies (but that's no problem nowadays since no one wants kids anyway). Men are naturally more permissive then women. God seems to have placed this into the natural order. When women become as "whorish" as men, the society is truly in trouble (there would be no society without the restraints and nurture by when - men just break things and kill people. Women are the true "civilizers").
