Some geeks put the bug up their @$$ about international traffic in HEU, you see. There's a whole gang of geeks and wackos at organizations like the Kookuler Control Institute and the Committee to Blow the Bridge that exist for no other purpose in life than to hassle users of research-grade SNM. So they put the screws to the foreign users of the stuff to ship it back here to Savannah River for the DOE to reprocess. Then after it got here the lousy crumbums got the reprocessing line at Savannah River shut down because they said it was environmentally unsound. So the materials sit in holding basins, awaiting their fate. It was all just a waste of time and money. I hate those geeks...
