Plus my doc gave me a prescription for antibiotics and told me to fill it if it didn't stop after a week. I just upped the anti. Heck, if I were in Mexico, I wouldn't even need the doc. I would just start taking stuff till it got better.That's the spirtit. Now what you have to do is drink a fifth of tequila and then sit in a sauna for a couple of hours. Get a good sweat going and all the bad spirits will leave your body.
Then eat a bunch of prunes.

It's not, but it's normally a good indicator (I think it's around 90% correct), but you can get both false +'s and -'s. He should have ran another culture from your throat for the lab to grow and check, but was probably trying to save you the lab fees. Now that I have ALL the information, I concur, you probably had some sort of bacterial infection (maybe not strep though). Glad to hear your feeling better.

Thanks. It's still lingering though. No more bad pain (course thats probably cause I'm taking Advil religiously) but I still can't talk because of the swelling. It's weird because it not my tonsils anymore that are the problem but that area of skin in front of them. That hooded patch is quite swollen on one side and I can't open my jaw all the way. And it makes my throat opening very very small.

The minimum sentence for dealing drugs should be life. These low-lifes deserve no mercy. The judge took off his robes and allowed this particular low-life to sentence himself. The judge should get the six months and the dealer life.
