Does this mean I can award myself a settlement in a civil action?

This idiot judge should be impeached. The crackhead should have sentenced the judge to jail time for sheer stupidity. I could go on but I have to barf now.

Judge James Warren gave crack cocaine dealer Albert Brown his gown and told him he was his own judge. Please tell me this is a dream, and I'll soon wake up and find it's not real.

California is a disgrace to common sense.

happy b-day to David Letterman, who just so happens to share my b-day.

I'm not sure why this gets anyone so fired up. Didn't your parents ever ask you what you thought your punishment should be? Mine did, and I usually chose something wrose than they would have. The judge even said the guy chose the same sentence that the judge would have given him anyway.
Relax folks - it's not like the guy said, "No punishment," and the judge let him walk.

LOL, I just gave the same offer to a student on Friday, after he complained about getting a detention. If he had named anything, I would have gone for it. He didn't think of anything, repeated his cry of, "it's just unfair!", and got his detention. At least the guy in the article handled the opportunity competently.

The minimum sentence for dealing drugs should be life. These low-lifes deserve no mercy. The judge took off his robes and allowed this particular low-life to sentence himself. The judge should get the six months and the dealer life.
