This is going on all over our beloved country. Just think of the myriad of instances where there is NO response. This school is fortunate to have the Thomas More Law Center stand up to this injustice. I feel terrible about all the schools where there is not one peep from the Christian/conservative community.

At this meeting, gay rights activists demanded that the Board take action against the Christian club for not adopting a so-called “non-discrimination” policy as part of its mission statement. This is a classic example of the NEW TOLERANCE. Real tolerance requires disagreement (by definition). You can't tolerate something you do not disagree with. However, the new tolerance "demands acceptance." This is not tolerance at all but coercion, as they are saying that "tolerance will apply to everyone except those who disagree with our point of view." Homosexuality is a moral issue, it is not a protected consitutitional right (read the 15th amendment), and no one can force their morals on someone else! Morality begins in the heart!
This is a twisted country people! Truth is dying! All you Christians out there need to speak up about this new tolerance and expose THEIR (gay activists) INTOLERANCE. Spit it back in their faces and make them explain their illogical and contradictory positions. They cannot win a debate on this - truth and logic are on our side.

Earlier this year, Pioneer High School officials demanded that Pioneers for Christ adopt its so-called “non- discrimination” policy as part of the club’s mission statement. This policy would force Pioneers for Christ to accept members who are not committed to its cause or adherents to the Christian faith. Moreover, this policy would prohibit its members from expressing and promoting their Christian view toward various issues, including homosexuality, thereby affecting the content of the members’ speech. Absolutely incredible. It's reminiscent of San Francisco City Hall's harassment of Catholic Charities, which sought an exception to a then-newly passed ordinance forcing groups with city contracts to offer spousal benefits to "domestic partners." While the Salvation Army told S.F. to keep its money while they kept their principles, CC worked out a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy that wasn't specific to "domestic partners" as a substitute.
But, as always is true in Sin Freaksicko politics, you give the leftists an inch and they will take a dump in your yard. The Board of Stupes further required non-profit orgs doing business with the city to have periodic public meetings ("The Sunshine Ordinance"). So what's wrong with that? Here's what: eventually, S.F. Archbishop William Levada was being grilled by a Human Rights Commission employee about whether the church discriminates against homosexuals. A subsequent report referred to Levada as contributing to homophobic attitudes because he was quoted in the press as being against domestic partners benefits.

The Gay Straight Alliance student club, with the support of school officials, monopolized this discussion by presenting only the view of several adults who claimed to be clergy of denominations that support the homosexual lifestyle. School officials prevented any other view to be expressed during this event, which occurred during the school day. Sounds like a conspiracy to me.
