I'll tell you what this could do....it could rattle the Saudi's who have extensive assets in this country, to re-think their investment strategy. If their assets face threats like this, of being seized, they'd be idiots to leave them in this country. I suspect their sudden withdrawal from the US economy would be significant.

The Bush administration is far too savvy not to realize the Saudis true intent, we want them as allies now to destroy Saddam. That is all.
