A wave of anti-semitism is sweeping Belgium as well.

What wave of ant-semitism, the Jews are probably the least most discriminated against group in the UK, even the Catholics and Protestants are more discriminated against than the Jews.
This is just media hype!

I have a neighbor who does charitable work in the Ukraine and she has told me that anti-semitism has been sweeping through Eastern Europe for the last few years. She says that it is reaching proportions not seen since before WWII.

Of course the Ukraine is that way. They have not forgotten Kaganovitch, Trotsky, Rosa Schwartz and others. It is not right to blame an entire group today for what some did over half a century ago but that is the reality of what is occuring.

Funny, you have no beef with Stalin( a Georgian )!
To: sheik yerbouty
Why would you think I like Stalin? I was relating why many in Eastern Europe and the Ukraine are antisemitic.
Do you disagree with what I wrote? Is it not true that much antisemitism stems from the actions of Kaganovitch and others? Do I have to list every commie thug when I comment on a few lest someone be offended?

some of these commie mass murderers who genocided the peoples of the former Soviet Union are living in Israel who wont turn them over. The US of course has no complaints. We should have one standard against against all racist mass murderers.
To: Eva
Whenever there is an economic slowdown the jews become the scapegoats.
I notice there was a lot of handwringing over protecting our islamic citizens and nothing but silence from our so called leaders about the virulent anti-semitism from some in congress and the media.

Oh, I feel so much bettr now. You certainly are the final authority on this matter.
To: OldFriend
And what about all those rich, powerful Jews who were around Clinton? Are we hearing anything from them??? BB
To: Betteboop
As long as Labour Party is in power in Israel, then the American jewish community is supportive. For now it seems that Sharon has some support from America but I can't be confident in the depth of that support.
To: OldFriend
Isn't that silly??? There is a faction of the American Jewish community that thinks that only if they like the leadership they can support them???
They seem to see differences the goyam don't see!!!
To: Eternal_Bear
Nothing creates more animosity than a double legal standard.

"
...has been sweeping through Eastern Europe for the last few years."
And the French were worried about American "hate sites" on the net, and their people buying nazi memorabilia.
To: OldFriend
Well I only say what I see being a British citizen living in Britain. The largest concentration of Jews, outside of Israel is in a place in London called Gants Hill. My parents live just 2 miles from there. There are also large concentrations in Stamford Hill, London (mainly orthodox Jews) and Tottenham. Although I don't live in London, I still have friends and family there, and I visit there a lot, and on a local basis there is no anti-semitic attitude.
Although I find your 'You certainly are the final authority on this matter' comment sarcastic (maybe you didn't mean it in this way. You tell me!) I live in the UK and you obviously don't. So, yes I am qualified to comment on this subject, although maybe not an authority, as I can't speak for every Man, Woman and child. I, for one, am not anti-semitic. I have Jewish friends, and I have Muslim friends, and I condemn anyone that is anti-semitic.
Den.
To: dennybabyboy-fitzy
I certainly was being sarcastic......and further I find it not all that unusual for folks to say that since they personally didn't see something......then it didn't occur.
To: LarryLied
The idea of "hate" crimes is very scary. Maybe even more scary than the anti-Jewish and anti-Christian attitudes of so many Muslims living in the West.
To: Betteboop
And what about all those rich, powerful Jews who were around Clinton? Are we hearing anything from them??? BB These are the people that will sell Israel to the Muslims "on principle".
They are secular jews with no thought but their own enrichment at the expense of all others.
And they hide behind thier "jewishness" as a shield to excuse them for their misdeeds.
Conservative jews should renoucee them but won't.
Catholics and protestants should say something but don't.
