Very well, here is the "Text book definition".

An economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market

For myself, I have already stated that Capitalism is the basic drive to achieve what ever ones dreams are. I make substantionally less then my brothers do. Guess what, they work n Unions and are considered low tier.

They play Golf(REally.) and go to bars two nights a week. I WORK and put my money in Investments. You see, they make more then I do but they are foolish and do not plan. I BUY things. I SAVE. I act rationally.

To me, Captitalism is the ability to buy and sell anything I want. Also, for other people to do the same. I sacrifice much to grow my stake. To put it simply, Capital is there for anyone who MAKES it!.

Pretty much. I have written over three pages of text about Capitalism in this thresd.

I would further expound on the subject but I am not sure if you have read my three pages of text.

Trust me, if you have read everything I have written on this post and have questions, I do not mind.

However, it seems to me like you haven't even read my comments so it is odd that you are asking me to comment on things I have already said. Hey man, its a free country look up my posts and do whatever the hell you want with them. I said them in public so I stand by it.

Why bother? Someone else will recieve the reward for your labors. No way.
Why be a doctor when raking leaves pays the same? Why be a scientist when pumping gas pays the same? Why become a teacher when you can be a welfare mom?
Why be an archatict when you can sweep floors and get paid the same? Why work hard for nothing?

America 'runs' on Capitalism -- Socialism is a parasitic infection.

Would you install additional smog-controls on your car if they cut your fuel economy and performance in half ?? That's the U.S. today -- Chugging along, dependent on the economies of third-world labor. The third world producers have something else, too -- they have the freedom to poduce without the burdens of oppressive regulations and their armies of government 'enforcers' .

I chose 50% because that's about the U.S. tax 'take' as a percentage of Gross National Product, give or take . . .

Really. Why be motovated when the unmotovated shares your wealth? Why bother? You bust your butt, and your check goes to all those who chose not to? Heck with that. Eventually, no one will want to work. What difference would it make? You'll still make as much as everyone else. Why sweat for nothing? Why produce? why labor? Why do anything?

When you hire plumbers to do your bsthroom over, who do you hire? All of the Liberals I know hire off the books plumbers who will hook them up. You see, even in Liberal Mass, the so called liberals fall prey to the evils of capitaliam.

Bump for later perusal, after I finish throwing up. THese socialist had better get a clue, capitalism works, and WORKS WELL, Socialism SUCKS, and sucks badly. It has destroyed whatever country it has touched, USSR being one, Canada being the next and the EU being the next.

We need to tell people who the socialists are, if a person is called a socialist, I don't care what crowd it is, he will become very unpopular, VERY FAST!!

I don't hate many people, but socialists are one group that I am happy to hate and spit upon. My freedoms and the freedom of my children is important to me, and therefore socialists are a PERSONAL threat. THEREFORE I HATE THEM AND DESPISE THEM!!! Hillary and her crook husband being on the top of that list.
