What should happen:

Secure our borders. Deport illegals from the middle east. Investigate US citizens with links to radical Islamic groups and middle eastern countries.

What will happen:

More laws infringing on our Rights. More of our Freedoms attacked. More Americans harrassed by "Homeland Security". Open borders. A police state.

I'm actually more nervous about the future now than right after 9/11. To see millions of militant muslims all over the world marching in the streets, burning flags, yelling and screaming death threats is terrifying. There were even some marching in downtown Salt Lake City. This whole world is truly a powder keg and only God, not GW Bush can save us now.

This is something I fear we will face......and soon too, especially since the terrorists are obviously being given the impression by world reaction against Israel's attempt to stop them that it works!
This country, and the rest of the world must send a strong message that terrorism does not pay. I am afraid that is not the case right now.

Hey, suicide bombers have feelings and rights too you know. Everyone has something to offer and who are we to make value judgements of how they contribute to society? Our diversity is our stength.

The Arafat statement called for immediate implementation of a shelved cease-fire plan prepared by CIA Director George J. Tenet.

Was this statement issued in Arabic?

But Mr. Biden said yesterday he believes both the Tenet plan and one drafted by former Sen. George J. Mitchell, Maine Democrat, are "no longer relevant."

Well, we have democrat Lieberman inviting Netanyahu, and democrat Biden criticizing his involvement. Lieberman is obviously the wiser of the two; apparently Mr. left-out-Biden is groping for ANYTHING critical, to utter for the press. He would better serve Israel and the US, by keeping his yap shut, for the sake of a more unified appearance, of the current efforts.

Ban Islam in this country, deport all muslims who are not citizens. These people are dangerous and should be put into a camp where they can not do harm. We are going to be sorry for the day that Muslims were ever allowed into the USA. And yes, our day is coming, and we will pay for the foolishness of our government. They have failed to protect us when they should have known. Communism was never as bad as this, and it was never this kind of a threat.

STOP, PLEASE STOP. The USA has American troops half way around the world destroying terrorist while giving a country freedom. At the same time , Israel, a foreign country, has attacked the people of Palestine, killed a bunch, destroyed homes with bulldozers, and are making GWB`s job of really wiping out the terrorists [Saddamn and Iran]that much more difficult. Does Israel have a right to go after the bad guys?--of course they do. But they have gone way past that. What blows me away is that Netanyahu has the balls to go before selected Senators and criticize the country that has bankrolled Isreal from the beginning and has taken big hits [9/11] because of that friendship

You're right. It would have been more helpful if the Israelis would have deported all the "Palestinians" back to Jordon, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Iraq where they belong. Then all the terrorists could be together and would require less surgical bombing if they refuse to give up their jihad.
