Are you talking about Jerry Brown? Yeah, he is so nutty that it is actually amusing. I sure hope he runs for President in 2004 so as to raise the entertainment value of the Demmycrat primary (although Sharpton already promises to provide lots of entertainment and laughs at the expense of the other candidates.)

There a couple of things I like about Sharpton. One, he walks the walk -- he doesn't have a lot of money, and had to borrow to pay off the slander judgement awarded to Steve Pagones. He also spent several months in jail last year after being arrested for protesting in Vieques, Puerto Rico. And he managed to lose a LOT of weight in the process.

Also --and this is the thing I won't forgot-- after those girls got mauled at the Puerto Rican Day parade in Central Park in NYC in 2000, Sharpton went on Fox and called all the perpetrators animals, which is exactly what they were. Nobody else, black or white, conservative or liberal, did that, and for that I'll always credit him, Tawana Brawley or no.
