Interesting article. I hazve a sauid frined I grew up with, who has never subscribed to islamist or nativist ideologies; he has israeli friends/business acquaintances, and has hoped for peace- he believes that the arab countries in the region would benefit from trade with israel, access to technology/agricultural techniques, etc. During this last go-around he has started using the same language of "crime" "Atrocity" etc. to describe the israeliis, and has drawn equivalences between the suicide bombers and US bombing in WWII..
We see this in completely different terms, and there doesn't seem to be any way for us to come to a shared viewpoint.
