Kristol and gang at the Weeklystandard said checey's mission failed and we know Kristol is wrong almost every time so I suspect it didn't fail at all?

I recently attended a breakfast meeting and Chuckie Schumer was the speaker.Man, you just won my vote for the all-time "Cast-Iron Stomach" award!
Go 1Old Pro Go!!!

Well shoot. Consider the course. Kristol is a fool. There is no way a VP as trusted as Cheney would visit all those Arab countries just to sell tupperware.

ABC Radio news just reported that Saudi Prince Abdullah (sp?) will meet with Bush in Crawford next week.
I think George will tell him that he's with us or agin us.

A year from now? Any reason you say that?....... Logistics, mostly.
And summer temperatures: remember those folks back in Desert Shield, in their rubber chemwar suits in 120 degree heat? They were having a hard time, and they were just sitting there in defensive positions. Can you imagine trying to mount an offensive operation dressed like that, in the July heat?

That Gore coverage is sickening. The press we googled over his speech and the real story should have been the at the Dems don't have a common terror message. They were all over the map down there !

Saudi Prince to Meet With Bush
By Associated Press
April 16, 2002, 1:57 PM EDT
WASHINGTON -- Pronouncing Saudi Arabia a "strong friend," the White House said Tuesday that President Bush will open his Texas ranch to Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah next week amid questions about the Saudis' commitment to fighting terrorists in the Middle East.
"Relations with the Saudis are strong. Obviously events in the Middle East lead to complications and those complications are going to be discussed," White House press secretary Ari Fleischer said.
The spokesman, who announced that Bush and Abdullah will meet at Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford on April 25, was responding to questions about Saudi officials who have defended the legitimacy of Palestinian suicide bombers that Bush has condemned as terrorists.
"The United States and Saudi Arabia have differing views as friends and as allies," Fleischer said. But in the war on terrorist targets in Afghanistan -- and in efforts to shut down the financing of terror networks -- "Saudi Arabia has been a strong friend of the United States," he added.
Fleischer said Bush also wants to discuss with Abdullah "the next phase" in the U.S.-led war against terrorism, which is expected to target Iraq's Saddam Hussein.
Abdullah, author of a Mideast peace plan endorsed by Bush and the Arab League, is the third overseas leader to meet with Bush at his secluded Texas home. British Prime Minister Tony Blair huddled there with Bush earlier this month trying to plot a path for Mideast peace. Bush played host to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the ranch in November.

I recently attended a breakfast meeting and Chuckie Schumer was the speaker. His forceful statement that an Iraq invasion was to be expected sooner rather than later made an impression on me. I'm sorry you had to endure such punishment. Be thankful that impression wasn't made by Her Heinous, you'd have been crushed!

The picture is starting to become more clear?

I don't know if you caught it or not but all our carriers left the Gulf for some reason. I suspect they want to resupply all the carriers and give R+R etc. because they know the next stage may take awhile?

I'm beginning to believe that the Crawford Ranch is the place to 'indoctrinate' foreign leaders. Hehehe. Notice how every leader who has visited there leaves just a wee bit different than he did when he arrived???? I wonder what's going on in the basement. LOL.
