Annan: "We dont care about dead Americans, Israelis,
or their supporters. We just want to kiss other terrorists."
I say this, because to a trained eye, this photo looks doctored (ala Photoshop).

In Bethlehem, Palestinian terrorists abuse and drag the bodies of men
alleged to have collaborated with, or spoke to, Israelis, March 14, 2002.
In Ramallah, Palestinian terrorists abuse and drag the bodies of men
alleged to have collaborated with, or spoke to, Israelis, March 12, 2002.
muslim mobs visiting acts of unspeakable violence and savagery upon another human (I dont want to argue the human part, its just a figure of speech) is the norm. If they could just manage to string together a few days where they DIDNT do this type of stuff, well, that would be news.

Under no circumstances do I stand up for the IDIOTS who call themselves (but aren't) Palestineans. Judging by their behavior ALONE, they should've been deported years ago from sovereign (won by war) Israeli territory.
However, knowing that we are on the side of TRUTH with respect to Israel, there is no need for falsehoods.
The orginal article claims that these are AP photos. I have full access to these archives (or, have full access to the AP photo feed - I have yet to determine how far back my feed continues to store data), and am curious as to whether or not they are authentic. If they are not, then somebody's lying, even if it is not necessary. If they _are_, then the AP is once again proving to us to what degree it will whore its values out to various "minority" groups.
I will be back after trying to dig around in the archives. Hopefully, our database goes back that far.

Arabs on the street are shot on sight? I think you're smoking something, Fikus, and it's not tobacco :). You are really a curious thing, Titus - or should I say Patria?
I will keep digging and see if I can find the retractions, to at least give you an AP transmission reference for it.
(As a side note, there is a plethora of horrid photography that is the result of the "palestinian" intifada in the archive. I may pull some photos out and post a URL to them for ya...)
FReegards, and my apologies for not being able to do enough to dig this up. If anyone else has a more complete AP photo archive, they're welcome to fill us in.

You have a problem with evidence that Palestinians kill?
I see the dates on the photos. The article above states that "the articles were retracted days later" (not specific enough), so I asked if you knew when exactly the photos were pulled from the AP archive (since I _might_ have record of the retraction).
You have a problem with evidence that Palestinians kill?
Absolutely not. There's a plethora of that type of evidence available. I am simply following the maxim "Trust, but verify."
If the photos in question ARE real, then we've got something to be hot at, and can direct all sorts of e-mails and faxes to whomever@ap.org.
but if these photos _are_ doctored, and no record of them exists in the AP feed system - of which hundreds of companies such as mine have subscriptions and archives to - then shame on whomever doctored the photos.
In the battle between Israel and the supposed palestineans, the truth is sufficient. Deport ALL of the barbarians immediately.

I dont think the argument is about whether or not it happened, just the source of the photos.
I wish I could remember this better, but about a month ago there was a post here that AP was removing photos like this from their archive almost as fast as they would be entered. I dont have much familiarity with APs archives and Im throwing this out from memory about a month ago.
Im sure we all agree that in this type of stuff goes on, but if the evidence is tainted, it becomes a powerful weapon for your enemies.
For the record, I think the photos are legit.

AP essentially sends photos out in serial fashion - Photos go across a proverbial wire (even though there's generally no "wire" anymore). Retractions and corrections go across the same wire. That was why I was interested in checking my archive (copied off of the feed, not relying on the feed) to see if I had any records of them or the retractions which followed. My archive, regrettably, does not go back far enough, so I was unable to dig any further.

How do you deal with a people who have no qualms of shooting anyone who doesn't sell their message? Threats to media photogs have been plainly reported.
While I don't condone media bias against Israel, I can understand some of the reasons why reporters have to be circumspect about what they report from a war zone where every bad guy carries a gun.
Same here- not only do I recall this incident, but about a year ago (???) 2 Israeli soldiers were "lynched" by a mob- the pictures of mob members waving blood-dipped hands were all over the 'net. A few days ago this incident was again raised here, and someone said they could not locate the photos, which seemed to have "disappeared." Someone found one (!) copy to display on that post.
