I THINK the delegates affect the platform policies as well.

In Michigan the delegates write the platform and choose the Secretary of State candidate.

Great idea, but posted a little late for those of us in the rest of the country.
Here in Texas we had our precinct conventions back in early March, and our Senate District conventions a couple weeks ago.

I got on the district platform committee and made sure we had strong pro-gun planks.

On to the state convention, where delegate seats have gone begging!
